The United States Army has put its scientist to work on turning garbage into energy. What the scientist came up with was the tactical garbage to energy refinery (TGER) that can be used to turn a wide variety of trash into ethanol. Not all of the trash is consumed by TGER and that portion gets compresses into pellets that are used for composite gas. When the ethanol and composite gas are mixed with 10 percent diesel it can be used in the generators to produce electricity.
